December 21, 2012 Doomsday: During Mass Chaos, Make Sure You Go Out with a Bang

comments: 3December 21, 2012 is getting close and closer and as the Mayan doomsday approaches it seems that there are two groups of people: those taking it seriously by preparing and those making fun of it by partying like it's 1999 all over again.
Apparently, the popular restaurant chain TGI Friday's is hoping to attract the second group of people to their Apocalypse Party on the "Last Friday" of the earth's existence.
According to a new report, the restaurant will be hosting parties for the end of the world in Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington DC, Orlando and Tampa. There will be Mayan themed drinks like the "Mayan Margarita" and other doomsday-inspired items. The theme of the night is to "make your final meal a good one" and "go out with a full stomach."
While some may think this is a stupid way to celebrate the end of the world, you've got to admit it's a brilliant marketing idea. People are cashing in on December 21, 2012 left and right so it's really no surprise that TGI Friday's sees an opportunity to bring customers into their restaurants.
Will you be celebrating the Last Friday of earth at TGI Fridays? If not, where will you be and what will you be doing?
