Flooding in Thailand is being described as the worst in decades, with the prime minister calling it a national crisis.
Nearly 270 people have been killed in heavy monsoon rains, floods and mudslides since July, authorities have said. More than 700,000 homes have been destroyed or damaged.
Rachel Harvey reports from the hard-hit central province of Ayutthaya.
